On the 26th of November 2010 "THEATRON" hosted the conference TED^XAthens, a meeting dedicated to the dissemination of innovative ideas. With a time span of 18 minutes, the speakers, innovators from the fields of sciences, art and business, were invited to deliver a lecture-experience, a starting point for a discussion with the audience. The key note speaker was Dr. Goran Carstedt, President of the Non-Profit Organization "The Natural Step International", which deals with issues of sustainable development. Among the speakers there were people from politics, economy and the Internet, as well as artists and writers. The conference was under the auspices of the annual organization TED, which started 25 ago in California and where leading figures participated in the past, such as Bill Gates, Al Gore, Isabel Allende and Gordon Brown.
