Miletus, Priene - On the traces of Hellenism
The celebrations for the 12 years of operation of the Cultural Centre "Hellenic Cosmos" culminated in the theatrical event "Miletus, Priene - On the traces of Hellenism", which was directed by Giannis Kakleas while Kiriakos Kosmidis was responsible for the choreographies. This happening was inspired by Hellenic history and was based on the virtual reconstruction of two cities of Asia Minor, Miletus and Priene, produced by FHW. The sets were digital and the navigation took place in real time, the actors conversed with a digital character (avatar), whose creation was based on the technology of Real Time Motion Capture. This advanced technological application, an innovation for theatre, provided actors and spectators alike with the opportunity to participate actively in the play, determining the course of its development. The leading role was held by the actor Konstantinos Konstantopoulos.
