On Thursday 26 January 2012, at 19:00, at Antigone Hall an event took place organized by the Jewish Community of Athens entitled "Despair – Knowledge – Consciousness", concerning the Remembrance Day of Greek Jewish Martyrs and Heroes of the Holocaust. Addresses were made by the Head of Region of Attica Mr. Ioannis Sgouros, the Mayor of Athens Mr. George Kaminis, the President of the Jewish Community of Athens and Representative of Greek Jewish Survivors from Nazi Concentration Camps. Then followed a video projection.
